Job summary

Maymont Homes, part of Brookfield, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of single-family rental homes. You will ensure homes are safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents, supporting operations and asset preservation.

The role requires hands-on technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, plus strong communication and time-management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in residential maintenance or related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency with mobile work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance across assigned properties.
• Diagnose and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systems.
• Complete and document work orders accurately and promptly using company-issued mobile devices.
• Coordinate with dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service completion.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily maintenance activities.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the primary field representative.
