Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in a multi-unit residential community. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work and machinery maintenance to keep our properties in excellent condition.

The role emphasizes safety, service-minded communication, and teamwork while delivering outstanding resident support and timely issue resolution. Weekend availability may be required and a strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of required experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property.

Responsibilities

• HVAC: repairs, cleans, replaces, etc.
• Plumbing: repairs, replace parts, installation (sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.)
• Carpentry: repairs and installs doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
• Painting: drywall/plaster repairs, painting
• Electrical/Appliance: lighting, wiring, power circuits, replacing switches, lamps, etc.
• Machinery: repair and maintain chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
• Most importantly is the ability to provide exceptional customer service
