Job summary

Maymont Homes in Goose Creek, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, renovations, and ongoing upkeep across our single-family rental homes. You will keep homes safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents, contributing to satisfaction, asset preservation, and operational efficiency.

The role requires strong technical skills, reliable communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in residential maintenance or related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in mobile technology and work order systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance across assigned properties.
• Diagnose and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systems.
• Complete and document work orders accurately and promptly using company-issued mobile devices.
• Coordinate with dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service completion.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily maintenance activities.
• Support property readiness by assisting with renovations, turns, and quality control checks.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the primary field representative.
• Promote company values and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards; report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain required documentation and reporting standards.
