Job summary

Brookfield Properties, through Maymont Homes, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and ongoing upkeep on a portfolio of single-family rental homes. You’ll diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances while ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include documenting work orders, coordinating with vendors, maintaining tools, and supporting renovations and quality control checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in residential maintenance or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with mobile devices and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across assigned homes, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Document work orders accurately using company devices and update status promptly.
• Coordinate with dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies; assist with renovations and quality checks.
• Provide excellent customer service as the frontline field representative; uphold Brookfield values.
