Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our property in Saint Peters, MO. The role covers a broad range of apartment and property upkeep tasks and requires strong customer service and curb appeal focus.

Typical duties include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and preventative maintenance, with responsibility for work orders and safety. High school diploma and 1 year in property management preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and tile repair.
• Proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and amenities for safety and cleanliness; identify issues needing maintenance, repair, or replacement.
• Assist with emergencies (snow removal, weather events, fires, floods).
• Communicate promptly with maintenance leadership on issues at the property.
• Observe safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours maintenance with required response times.
• Promote customer satisfaction and curb appeal in interactions with residents.
