Balfour Beatty Communities in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the community's physical condition and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and address service requests promptly, ensuring safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic troubleshooting, and the ability to work a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Certifications such as EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, or appliance repair within 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, with inspections and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
• Work a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage.
