Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Service Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across residential properties. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and assist in making-ready units for new residents while keeping common areas in top condition.

You will also support safety programs, maintain inventory, and document work for property records. A valid license for vehicle use on-site and EPA refrigerant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal.
• State and local certifications as required for all technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders for service requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, and reorder as needed.
• Documents all work in a timely and accurate manner for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, including cleaning and painting where required.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.
