Job summary

Avenue5 Residential, LLC Career Center is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of repairs and preventive maintenance across our community. You will diagnose and fix HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry issues, complete service requests, and help maintain safety and curb appeal.

Role requires strong communication, reliability, and a willingness to participate in rotating on‑call shifts and occasional weekend work. A 30% housing discount is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of maintenance/handyman experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry across the community.
• Perform general carpentry, drywall, cabinetry, and flooring tasks as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, lighting, irrigation, pool, and other systems.
• Process service requests accurately within established response times ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Inspect homes, buildings, and amenities for safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, weather events, water intrusion) and be part of on‑call rotation.
• Communicate maintenance needs and project updates to leadership; follow safety policies.
