Job summary

Premier Development is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our onsite community team. You will handle day-to-day repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and help keep the property in top condition for residents. This role requires 1+ year in building maintenance, basic plumbing/electrical skills, and a valid driver's license with your own tools.

On-call rotation is required, with overtime pay. EPA/HVAC certification is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in residential, apartment, or commercial building maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with basic plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, drywall repair, and general maintenance.
• EPA / HVAC Certification is a strong plus.
• Valid driver's license and your own basic hand tools required.
• Willingness to participate in a shared, rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily resident service requests for general plumbing, basic electrical, light carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Inspect buildings, common areas, and mechanicals regularly to spot and fix minor issues before they become big problems.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for new residents (minor repairs, hardware replacement, safety checks).
• Provide friendly, professional updates to residents while completing work orders in their homes.
• Maintain clean work areas, follow safety protocols, and ensure the community grounds are well-maintained.
