Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Chicago, IL to perform high-quality maintenance across multiple trades while delivering exceptional resident service. You will complete ProCare visits, educate residents on home systems, and coordinate follow-up visits, with adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2–5+ years in residential maintenance, OSHA 10, and relevant certifications; a valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5+ years in residential repairs or related maintenance.
• OSHA 10 certification required (90 days to complete).
• EPA Type I/II/Universal, HVAC, or CPO certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Complete ProCare visits and schedule next maintenance visit.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and home systems.
• Perform property condition assessments and report to management.
• Use and care for company tools, materials, and vehicles.
• Review upcoming appointments and prepare equipment for single-visit jobs.
• Follow safety guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
