Job summary

Willow Bridge Property Company in the Newton, MA area is hiring a Maintenance Technician to service an apartment community. You will troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical systems, install appliances, and help maintain curb appeal.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC and EPA Type I/II certifications preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and respond to after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• HVAC troubleshooting knowledge is required.
• EPA Type I & II certifications preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• On-call for after-hours emergencies may be required.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possibly a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair apartment systems including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical.
• Install new appliances as needed.
• Complete resident service orders promptly.
• Maintain exterior of the property for clean curb appeal.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
• Additional duties as assigned.
