Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance and repairs at our apartment community in Bradenton, FL. Under the Community Manager, you’ll lead the maintenance team, manage work orders, and ensure safety and quality standards.

You will perform light electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, schedule preventive maintenance, read manuals, and respond to emergencies after hours. Flexibility and hands-on problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance staff.
• HVAC knowledge/certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff and workload.
• Ensure work orders and make-readies are completed promptly.
• Coordinate with Community Manager on projects and orders.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Handle painting, carpentry, and masonry tasks as needed.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test solutions.
• Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance program.
