Job summary

ResProp Management in Bradenton, FL, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee service operations, repair appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems while delivering outstanding resident service.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years of maintenance with 3+ in apartments, strong leadership, EPA Universal certification, and a toolkit; on-site role with rotating on-call; comprehensive benefits include health, 401(k), PTO, and rent discounts.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of general maintenance/general repair experience with 3 years in apartment operations.
• Management experience is required.
• EPA Universal certification is required.
• CPO certification is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the service operations to ensure operational goals are achieved.
• Supervise repair and replacement of appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide quality customer service to residents.
• Train maintenance teammates and encourage them to reach their full potential.
• Assist Property Manager in recruiting and interviewing maintenance staff.
• Oversee organization of maintenance shop and property appearance.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work; manage work orders and response times.
• Ensure safety and OSHA standards are met; maintain a safe environment.
• Oversee unit turns and renovations within set time frames.
• Walk apartments to assess damage and prepare for rent-ready status.
