Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Maintenance Technician for one of our apartment communities. The role offers full-time hours, a competitive hourly wage, and a commission structure.

We provide medical and dental benefits, paid holidays, vacation time, and ongoing training to help you advance within the company. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and handle all aspects of on-site maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks to keep the community in top condition.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is desirable.
• Strong electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Perform grounds work and basic maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on projects and work orders.
• Carry out electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and masonry tasks as needed.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test repairs.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
• Read manuals and follow safety regulations.
• Respond to emergencies during and after hours.
