Job summary

West Shore in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all aspects of maintenance and repairs at our apartment community. Under the Community Manager, you will lead staff, prioritize work orders, and ensure make-readies are completed on schedule.

You will perform minor electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and masonry tasks; diagnose problems, schedule preventative maintenance, and respond to emergencies after hours.

Qualifications

• Oversee maintenance staff and workload management.
• Ensure work orders and make-readies are completed promptly.
• HVAC certified with ability to maintain and repair systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance staff and workload.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and make-readies.
• Coordinate with Community Manager on projects and repairs.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance (fixtures, bulbs, outlets, switches).
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance (leaks, drains).
• Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry tasks.
• Respond to emergency situations after hours.
• Schedule and execute preventative maintenance programs.
• Read equipment manuals to perform required maintenance.
