Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the community meets Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. The role involves diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and maintaining common areas for a 312-unit community.

You will oversee the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinate vendors, and uphold cost-control practices while delivering high-quality service to residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and repair.
• Ability to diagnose defects and perform safe, compliant repairs.
• Experience coordinating vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform routine upkeep.
• Manage the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance across grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect team members and contractors to ensure quality and cost control.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools; assist budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA/MSDS compliance.
