Greystar is seeking a skilled Service Technician for Fort Worth, TX to ensure the physical aspects of our properties meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. You will handle maintenance requests, prepare vacant units, manage inventory, and assist with grounds and common areas.

The role emphasizes cost-conscious repairs and adherence to safety policies while coordinating with vendors and property management.

Formación

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsabilidades

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Completes the make‑ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by performing inspections, creating a punch list, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to access materials from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies the supervisor about re‑ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost‑cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools efficiently.
• Complies with safety policies and participates in safety trainings.
• May periodically inspect work by contractors to verify quality and compliance.
