Job summary

Greystar is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician in Addison, TX to maintain indoor and outdoor spaces, respond to resident service requests, and ensure safety and quality across all community areas.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and oversee make-ready tasks for vacant apartments, coordinating with vendors as needed. Strong customer service and tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trades.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for operations.
• Proficiency with tools and basic maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects from resident requests and perform repairs per safety standards.
• Manage the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating contractors.
• Set and maintain standards for exterior, grounds, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
