Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work that keeps the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional by completing maintenance tasks.

You will handle work orders within 24 to 48 hours, manage make-ready inspections, assist in upkeep of the grounds, coordinate with contractors as needed, and adhere to safety and code requirements. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call work is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively; customer service oriented.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and basic mechanical maintenance.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type I/II or Universal required or as per jurisdiction.
• Ability to use measuring devices and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders within 24–48 hours and performs routine maintenance tasks.
• Prepares make-ready inspections, coordinates vendors, and ensures safety and compliance.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists in cost-saving maintenance practices.
• Conducts safety training, documents work, and communicates with residents and team.
