Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant in Manassas, VA to sell insulation and building products to residential and light commercial accounts. The role requires proactive prospecting, daily sales calls, and managing accounts from initial contact to project completion.

The position is safety-sensitive with local travel (>50%). Base plus commissions, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off are offered to support performance and career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate/follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials/services based on customer needs.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers and inspect job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
