Job summary

The RMR Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Florida to serve as the property's sales representative, supporting leasing, retention, and occupancy goals. The role emphasizes customer service, relationship building, and a hands-on approach to daily community needs.

The ideal candidate will be able to greet prospects, present features, handle leasing paperwork, and maintain active guest cards while coordinating with the Property Manager on reports and resident events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with residents, employees, vendors, owners, etc.
• Excellent attendance is a requirement of the position.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Bi-lingual abilities may be required based on property needs.
• Experience with YARDI software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and present the property features and benefits.
• Follow company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and applicable laws.
• Maintain guest cards and move prospects toward leasing.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and resident communications.
• Manage move-ins/outs and leasing paperwork.
• Plan and oversee resident events with the Property Manager.
