Job summary

The RMR Group LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant for our Altamonte Springs, FL community. You will act as the property’s sales representative, supporting leasing goals and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

You will build relationships, plan events, and take initiative while adapting to daily community needs. Strong communication and organizational skills, flexible schedule, and knowledge of MS Office and YARDI are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attendance is a requirement of the position.
• Excellent customer service.
• Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Bi-lingual abilities may be required based on property needs.
• Preferred computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, YARDI.
• Ability to walk, stand; utilize stairs; conduct property tours in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and present the features and benefits of the property.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state/local laws (Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA).
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures as outlined by the company manuals.
• Provide a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing center/clubhouse.
• Inspect models and market-readies for quality appearance before showing.
• Relay incoming calls to appropriate contacts.
• Maintain guest cards and advance prospects until move-in.
• Assist the Property Manager with reports, resident communications, move-ins/outs, inventories and market surveys.
• Maintain resident files per policy.
• Process leasing applications as per guidelines.
• Oversee lease renewals to optimize occupancy.
• Plan and oversee resident activities with the Property Manager.
