Job summary

The RMR Group in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support leasing, retention and occupancy goals at the community. You will be the property's sales representative and deliver an exceptional resident experience.

This role emphasizes relationship-building, event planning, and flexible day-to-day operations, with responsibilities including tours, processing applications, and coordinating renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with residents, employees, peers and vendors.
• Excellent attendance is a requirement of the position.
• Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Bi-lingual abilities may be required based on property needs.
• Preferred computer software experience including YARDI®.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and present property features and benefits.
• Follow policies and laws including Fair Housing and ADA.
• Maintain guest cards and follow up until a home is chosen.
• Inspect models and market-readiness prior to showings.
• Coordinate daily/weekly reports and resident communications.
• Oversee lease renewals to optimize renewals.
• Deliver excellent customer service and host resident activities.
