Job summary

The RMR Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant for its Florida community. You will be the property’s sales representative, supporting leasing, retention and occupancy goals while delivering an exceptional resident experience.

The ideal candidate builds relationships, plans events, and takes initiative to meet day-to-day needs. Strong communication, customer service, and proficiency with MS Office and YARDI are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with residents, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc.
• Excellent attendance is a requirement of the position.
• Excellent customer service.
• Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Bi-lingual abilities may be required based on property needs.
• Preferred computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, YARDI®.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and professionally present property features and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA and federal, state and local laws for Multi-Family Housing.
• Maintain a professional and friendly leasing center environment.
• Inspect models and market readies for quality appearance.
• Process leasing applications per P&P guidelines.
• Oversee lease renewals to optimize renewals.
• Plan and oversee resident activities with the Property Manager.
