Job summary

HomePro in the DFW area seeks an Installation Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across the residential installation team. You will lead field technicians, streamline scheduling, and ensure high-quality installations for homeowners.

This role requires strong leadership, a solid understanding of residential technologies, and a passion for delivering excellent service. You will collaborate with sales, design, and customer service to ensure smooth handoffs and measurable results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in installation management, project coordination, or field service within residential AV, home security, or home automation.
• Strong understanding of home security systems (alarms, doorbell cameras, sensors), smart home platforms (Control4, Savant, Ring, ADC), and AV (home theaters, whole-house audio).
• Proven experience managing field teams, schedules, and customer expectations.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily residential install field operations and teams.
• Schedule and dispatch technicians to ensure on-time installations.
• Refine operational processes for efficient project execution.
• Manage inventory and ordering for security devices, sensors, cameras, and AV gear.
• Serve as main contact for escalated customer issues post-installation.
• Coordinate with sales and design for smooth handoffs and clear project scopes.
• Hire, train, and develop technicians with focus on technical skills and customer service.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure licensing, safety protocols, and best practices for residential installs.
• Stay informed on industry trends and tools to improve offerings and team knowledge.
