Job summary

Waypoint Maine, Inc. is seeking a House Manager for our Residential program. The role leads Direct Support Professionals, manages home operations, and ensures the quality of care for residents with developmental disabilities.

It requires coordinating care, supervising staff, and adhering to state and agency guidelines. The position is hourly and full-time, with a 40-hour workweek, Monday–Friday and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Social Services, Business, Health Care Administration or related field.
• Two to five years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Willingness to obtain DSP, CPR/FA and CRMA training within the agency's timeline.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and ensure quality of care.
• Oversee home operations, staffing, and budgeting within program.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and process incident reporting daily.
• Schedule and monitor direct care hours to meet minimums and billing targets.
• Coordinate medical/psychiatric care and dietary needs with healthcare professionals.
