Job summary

Hope Family Partners in Maine is seeking a House Manager to lead one or more residential homes, ensuring person-centered support in a safe, respectful environment. You will mentor Direct Support Professionals and coordinate services to promote independence and community inclusion.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, and adherence to HCBS regulations. Primarily weekday hours with after-hours on-call as needed, offering a starting salary of

Qualifications

• Experience working in Human Services or a related field.
• Previous experience supervising or managing employees.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals to provide high-quality care.
• Foster an environment where individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion while promoting independence and community inclusion.
• Develop and monitor IPPs in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Schedule staff and manage timecards and time-off requests.
• Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and accountability for direct support staff.
• Coordinate medical appointments and advocate for the individuals we support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and daily records.
• Ensure HCBS compliance and all applicable state/federal requirements.
• Oversee key residential operations (MARs, menus, activity calendars, household schedules, mileage reimbursements, program documentation).
• Maintain communication with Coordinators, families, guardians, case managers, and healthcare providers.
• Provide direct support during staffing gaps and participate in after-hours on-call.
