Talentify in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a Residential Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a residential group home and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

You will train staff, evaluate performance, schedule shifts, manage funds for individuals, and document each person’s program plan while ensuring health, safety, and medications are administered properly. Build strong relationships with families and guardians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Current auto insurance required.
• Ability to transport individuals safely.
• Favorable background check required.

Job Summary

• Role: Oversee the daily operations of a residential group home, including supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Objective: Provide support and supervision to ensure high-quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Essential Functions

• Supervision: Manage DSPs, including training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
• Accounting: Ensure accurate management of individuals' funds.
• Program Implementation: Oversee and document each individual's program plan.
• Health & Safety: Monitor health and safety, ensure medical appointments are completed, and medications are administered properly.
• Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with families, guardians, and support staff.
• Compliance: Adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as Cardinal Services' policies and procedures.
• Environment: Create a supportive, fun environment for both individuals served and employees.
• Impact: Show a desire to positively impact the lives of others.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Previous management experience and experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Requirements:
