Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a Residential Manager for Fort Wayne group homes to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure care plans meet state and federal regulations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred), supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed. Benchmark offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience supervising staff in a care/IDD setting preferred.
• Driver's license with reliable transportation and auto insurance required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and supervision to staff in accordance with state and federal regulations and agency policies.
• Participate in development and implementation of client individual plans as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Complete required documentation on a timely basis per guidelines.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance for the group home.
• Maintain staff schedule and manage house budgets per ISP.
• Attend agency meetings and client appointments as directed.
