Job summary

The Scion Group seeks a Porter/Gatekeeper to maintain the property's common areas in Columbus, OH. This role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and dependable service in a student-friendly environment. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, lawn and irrigation upkeep, lighting, snow removal, and assisting with general repairs.

The position requires a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license. Eligible candidates must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, stand long hours, and work flexible

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of full-time experience in lawn/grounds maintenance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset and prevent liability.
• Move and remove trash and debris in common areas.
• Mow, trim, rake leaves, and maintain landscaping.
• Repair and maintain irrigation, lighting, and pool equipment as directed.
• Know emergency procedures and be able to engage shutoffs and access panels.
• Promote safety to minimize property loss and injuries.
• Assist in snow removal and after-hours coverage.
