Job summary

Responsibilities include cleaning, lawn care, irrigation and lighting maintenance, pool upkeep and safety procedures. The position involves physical work, after-hours coverage, and a focus on reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma and one year of experience in lawn/grounds maintenance or equivalent
• Efficient in reading instructions and documenting labor and materials
• Record of punctuality and dependability, ability to work under pressure and after-hours/weekend emergencies
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset and other property features
• Remove trash and debris from common areas continuously
• Sweep and remove debris from curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairways
• Maintain and repair loose stairwell treads and exterior lighting
• Mow lawns, trim planting beds, and manage leaves and debris
• Apply weed and feed to lawn areas and water as needed
• Maintain irrigation systems and fountains; service pool equipment as directed
• Know emergency procedures and access shutoffs and fuse panels
• Promote safety to limit property loss and injury to residents and visitors
• Keep drainage grilles clear; pressure-wash sidewalks and pool decks
• Assist in snow removal and undertake required training
• Maintain professional uniform and appearance
