Job summary

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma plus 1 year of lawn/grounds maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Able to read instructions and document labor and materials.
• Punctual and dependable; able to handle deadlines and after-hours/weekend emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.
• On-site at the assigned property; on-call capacity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset and related features.
• Remove trash and debris from common areas on a continuous basis.
• Sweep and clear debris from curbs, parking areas, walks and stairs.
• Repair loose stair treads and exterior lighting; report inventory.
• Mow lawns, trim beds, rake leaves, and manage landscaping debris.
• Apply weed and feed; reseed and water as needed.
• Install seasonal plantings and decorative features.
• Trim trees/shrubs; maintain irrigation and fountains.
• Clean pool and spa per manufacturer specs; service pool equipment.
• Know emergency procedures, gas/water shutoffs, sewer cleanouts and panels.
• Promote safety to limit property loss or injuries.
• Keep drainage grills clear; assist in snow removal.
• Engage in required training and maintain professional appearance.
