Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Porter/Gatekeeper for our property in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring safe, welcoming common areas.

You will assist with general upkeep, operate within SOPs, and respond to after-hours needs as required. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of maintenance or lawn/grounds experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Able to read and follow written instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to handle deadlines.
• Dependable in after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 100 lbs as needed.
• On-site property location; able to travel within site as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property's common areas per Scion SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding tasks to maintain the asset and assist with maintenance needs.
• Remove trash and debris from common areas continuously.
• Sweep and clear debris from curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairs.
• Maintain and repair stairs, exterior lighting, irrigation, pool and related equipment.
• Promote safety and respond to emergencies; participate in snow removal if needed.
• Keep uniform and professional appearance on duty.
