Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Porter/Gatekeeper to maintain the common areas of a residential property in Colorado Springs. The role emphasizes customer-centric service, initiative, and attention to detail to keep indoor and outdoor spaces clean and well-kept.

Responsibilities include lawn and landscape care, lighting maintenance, pool upkeep, and general repairs. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required, with after-hours and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma and one year of full-time experience in lawn/grounds maintenance or equivalent.
• Efficient in reading instructions and documenting labor and materials.
• Punctual, dependable, able to work under deadlines and flexible for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset and related features.
• Remove trash and debris from common areas continuously.
• Sweep and remove debris from curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairways as scheduled.
• Maintain and repair loose stairwell treads and exterior lighting.
• Mow lawn areas, trim beds, rake leaves and manage landscaping debris.
• Apply weed and feed, top seed and water areas as needed.
• Install seasonal plantings, shrubs, trees, and decorative features.
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs; maintain irrigation and fountains.
• Clean pool and spa per manufacturer specs and code; maintain pool equipment.
• Know emergency procedures and access shutoffs and fuse panels.
• Promote safety to limit property loss and injuries to residents and visitors.
• Keep drainage grills clear of leaves; assist in snow removal as required.
• Undertake training; maintain professional uniform and appearance.
