Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Porter to provide upkeep of the property's common areas at the assigned site. You will perform cleaning, preventative maintenance and light repairs, and support safety and resident comfort.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of relevant grounds experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to stand all day and lift up to 100 lbs. The position requires punctuality, dependability, and occasional after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma and one year of full-time experience in lawn/grounds maintenance or equivalent
• Efficient in reading instructions and documenting labor and materials
• Record of punctuality and dependability, ability to work under deadlines and after-hours emergencies
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs
• Job location is at the assigned property
• Serves in an on-call capacity, except during PTO periods

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOPs, OSHA and industry standards
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain assets and facilities
• Remove trash and debris from common areas and clean/maintain curbs and walkways
• Maintain and repair stairwell treads and exterior lighting
• Mow lawns, trim beds, rake leaves, and manage landscape upkeep
• Maintain irrigation systems, pool and spa according to specs
• Know emergency procedures and how to engage shutoffs and access panels
• Promote safety to limit losses and injuries
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform as required
