Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Residential Energy Efficiency Contractor Manager to strengthen the contractor network delivering the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. You will build relationships with residential HVAC and weatherization contractors, help them navigate the Program, and use data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in residential energy efficiency, contractor management, construction, program implementation, or a related field.
• Experience working directly with contractors and building productive relationships.
• Working knowledge of residential energy efficiency areas such as HVAC/heat pumps, weatherization, and building envelope.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance management of the Residential Program Ally contractor network across the Ameren Illinois service territory.
• Monitor contractor network health and performance using participation, production, quality data to identify risks and opportunities and develop targeted strategies.
• Serve as a two-way conduit between contractors and the Program—translating Program requirements into practical guidance while incorporating contractor feedback in design and implementation discussions.
• Strengthen contractor capacity through recruitment, training, technical resources, and ongoing engagement.
• Identify gaps in contractor coverage by geography, trade, capability, and demand and develop recruitment and development strategies.
• Support onboarding and ongoing participation (orientation, certifications, agreements, insurance, incentives, issue resolution) and maintain records in Aleet/Salesforce.
• Collaborate across Residential and Business Program Ally teams to create a consistent contractor experience and translate contractor needs into marketing support.
• Identify recurring challenges and develop scalable solutions using CRM data to prioritize outreach and inform strategy.
