Job summary

Leidos seeks a Residential Energy Efficiency Contractor Manager to strengthen and grow the contractor network delivering the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. The role focuses on contractor success, customer experience, and program performance, building trusted relationships with residential HVAC and weatherization contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant energy efficiency/contract management experience, or 5+ years of equivalent experience without a degree.
• Experience working with contractors, trade professionals, or external partners to build productive, long-term relationships.
• Knowledge of residential energy efficiency topics such as HVAC/heat pumps, weatherization, and building envelope.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to balance contractor support with program requirements and accountability, and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance management of the Residential Program Ally contractor network across the Ameren Illinois service territory, building trusted relationships and supporting contractors in meeting program expectations.
• Monitor contractor network health and performance using data to identify risks and opportunities and develop targeted strategies.
• Translate program requirements into practical contractor guidance and represent contractor feedback in program design discussions.
• Strengthen contractor capacity across HVAC/air-source heat pumps and weatherization/building-envelope services through recruitment and resources.
• Identify gaps in contractor coverage by geography and trade and develop recruitment and development plans with program teams.
• Support onboarding and ongoing participation, including orientation, certifications, agreements, insurance, incentive updates, issue resolution, and record-keeping in Aleet/Salesforce.
