Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Residential Energy Efficiency Contractor Manager to strengthen and grow the contractor network delivering the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. You will build trusted relationships with residential HVAC and weatherization contractors, navigate program requirements, and use data to identify improvement opportunities, influencing program strategies and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in residential energy efficiency or contractor management.
• Experience working directly with contractors and building long-term relationships.
• Knowledge of HVAC/heat pumps, weatherization, building envelope.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM to manage relationships.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance management of the Residential Program Ally contractor network across Illinois.
• Monitor contractor network health using participation, production, quality, training, and geography data.
• Translate Program requirements into practical contractor guidance while incorporating field feedback.
• Strengthen contractor capacity through recruitment, training, and resources.
• Identify gaps in contractor coverage and develop recruitment strategies with Program teams.
• Support onboarding, certifications, insurance, and program participation requirements.
• Maintain contractor records in Aleet (Salesforce) and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with Residential/Business Ally teams to provide a consistent contractor experience.
• Translate contractor needs into marketing support and lead generation opportunities.
