Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Residential Energy Efficiency Contractor Manager to strengthen the contractor network delivering the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. This role focuses on contractor success, customer experience, and program performance in Illinois, with a strong emphasis on HVAC and weatherization capabilities.

You will identify trends, support onboarding, and ensure contractor feedback shapes program design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in residential energy efficiency or related field; or 5+ years without a degree.
• Experience working directly with contractors and building productive relationships.
• Knowledge of residential energy efficiency topics (HVAC, weatherization, building envelope).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to balance contractor support with program requirements and accountability.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Own performance management of the Residential Program Ally contractor network across the Ameren Illinois service territory.
• Monitor network health using data to identify risks/opportunities and develop targeted strategies.
• Translate Program requirements into practical contractor guidance while incorporating field feedback.
• Strengthen contractor capacity in HVAC and weatherization through recruitment and training.
• Collaborate across Residential and Business Program Ally teams to ensure a consistent contractor experience.
• Identify gaps in contractor coverage by geography/trade and develop recruitment strategies.
• Support onboarding and ongoing participation, including certifications, insurance, and Salesforce/Aleet records.
• Develop scalable solutions using CRM data to improve processes and performance.
