Job summary

In Charge Electrical Services, LLC is hiring a Residential Electrical Instructor in Temple, TX. You will lead a training crew of 2–6 apprentices on active job sites, wiring houses through rough and trim, and teaching wiring to code with speed and quality.

The role emphasizes mentoring, NEC and NFPA 70E safety, and keeping training records while coordinating with leadership to improve the program. You will remain hands-on with tools in hand daily.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of residential electrician experience with hands-on rough and trim work.
• Able to wire houses quickly and teach others to do the same.
• Supervisory-level field experience leading crews.
• Experience training apprentices or field teams; developing new electricians.
• Strong NEC knowledge and job-site safety practices.
• High attention to detail; clear communicator; organized with Office tools.
• Must hold a valid Wireman/Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Pass pre-employment screening including background and MVR checks.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a training crew of 2 to 6 apprentices in the field.
• Train hands-on through rough and trim installations on active job sites.
• Demonstrate work, then coach apprentices as they perform it.
• Teach wiring methods for speed and quality while maintaining code compliance.
• Reinforce NEC requirements and NFPA 70E safety daily.
• Mentor apprentices, track progress, and maintain training records.
• Report progress to training leadership and collaborate with field supervisors.
