Job summary

In Charge Electrical Services, LLC is seeking a Residential Electrical Instructor to train the next generation of electricians in the field. You will lead a training crew of 2–6 apprentices, wiring real houses through rough and trim, and mentoring on daily work to meet production speed with quality.

You will onboard apprentices, teach NEC requirements and job-site safety, and coordinate with leadership to continuously improve the program.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience as a practicing residential Electrician.
• Able to wire a house quickly and teach others to do the same.
• Supervisory-level or above field experience, including leading crews.
• Experience training or mentoring apprentices or field teams.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC and job-site safety practices.
• High attention to detail.
• Valid Wireman, Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Clear communicator, able to explain technical work to varied experience levels.
• Organized, with working proficiency in MS Office and training systems.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background and MVR).
• Dependable transportation and consistent attendance.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead a training crew of 2–6 apprentices on active jobs.
• Train hands-on through rough-in and trim on sites, coaching as they work.
• Teach wiring methods for speed while upholding quality and code compliance.
• Maintain high detail standards and verify apprentices' work.
• Incorporate NEC and NFPA 70E safety into daily routines.
• Track progress, assess skills, and maintain training records.
• Report progress to training leadership and collaborate with field supervisors to improve the program.
