Job summary

In Charge Electrical Services, LLC is seeking a Residential Electrical Instructor to lead a training crew of 2–6 apprentices on active residential job sites. You will mentor, demonstrate, and coach wiring practices in rough and trim installations, ensuring work meets code and production speed.

The role requires 5–7+ years as a practicing residential electrician, supervisory experience, and a strong NEC/safety background. On-site work only with opportunities to advance within the training program.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience as a practicing residential Electrician.
• Able to wire a house quickly and teach others to do the same.
• Supervisory-level or above field experience leading crews.
• Experience training apprentices or field teams; developing new electricians.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC and job-site safety practices.
• Clear communicator capable of explaining technical work to varied experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a training crew of 2 to 6 apprentices in the field.
• Train hands-on through rough and trim installations on active job sites.
• Teach apprentices to wire houses efficiently while maintaining quality and speed.
• Ensure wiring meets plan and code requirements; check and correct items on site.
• Reinforce NEC requirements and NFPA 70E safety practices daily.
• Mentor apprentices; track progress and maintain training records.
