Job summary

In Charge Electrical Services, LLC is seeking an Electrical Instructor to lead a training crew of 2–6 apprentices on active residential wiring projects. You will mentor and develop new electricians while remaining hands-on with tools in hand each day.

You will teach NEC requirements and NFPA 70E safety, track progress, and partner with field supervisors to continuously improve the program and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and electrical license.
• 5-7+ years as a residential electrician with hands-on wiring skills.
• Experience training or mentoring apprentices and leading crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a training crew of 2 to 6 apprentices on active job sites.
• Train hands-on through rough and trim installations, then coach apprentices.
• Teach how to wire houses efficiently while maintaining quality and speed.
• Uphold NEC and NFPA 70E safety standards and daily practices.
• Mentor apprentices, track progress, and maintain training records.
• Provide regular feedback to leadership and field supervision for program improvement.
• Report apprentice progress and program results to training leadership.
