Job summary

United Counseling Service of Bennington County Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential, Level II to provide direct services to residents and implement Individual Service Agreements (ISA).

The DSP will participate in daily routines, support independence, assist with medication administration where appropriate, and collaborate with nursing and treatment teams to ensure high-quality care across our group home program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typing skills, Windows skills, and e-mail usage are required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct Service: Implement ISAs, assist with daily living, money management, dining, self-care and community integration; administer medications as assigned.
• Program Implementation/Program Development: Participate in treatment planning, ISAs, and client advocacy.
• Record Keeping: Enter data, progress notes, and summaries; complete incident reports.
• Team Lead: Assign shift tasks, ensure ISA compliance, maintain household standards, coordinate with nursing staff.
• Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping tasks and report issues; assist in daily operations and readiness for emergencies.
