Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) in Vermont is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Residential to provide direct service to residents, implement ISAs, and participate in daily activities within the group home. This 24‑hour-per-week, 2nd‑shift role emphasizes independence, medication assistance as assigned, and collaboration with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typing skills, Windows skills, typing and navigating, and e-mail usage.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct Service: implement ISAs, assist with self-care, money management, dining, problem solving, and community outings.
• Program implementation/development: attend meetings, implement ISAs, assist in ISA development, complete training.
• Record keeping: input data, progress notes, monthly summaries, and related information.
