Job summary

United Counseling Service in Vermont is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Residential) to provide direct support to individuals in a group home setting. You will implement ISAs, assist with daily routines, and promote independence while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Direct Service experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals and implement ISAs.

• Administer medications as assigned and ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with nursing staff and advocate for individuals' safety and dignity.
• Record progress notes, monthly summaries, and other documentation.

• Attend scheduled meetings and contribute to ISAs development.
