Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) in Vermont is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Residential. This 32 hours per week role operates in the evening shift, with every other weekend required, and is benefits-eligible as a part-time position.

You will support individuals under ISAs, assist with day-to-day activities, medication administration, and community outings while upholding independence, safety, and dignity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for internal e-mail communication.
• Direct Service experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Service: implement ISAs, promote independence, support daily routines.
• Program Implementation & Development: work with Group Home team, assist ISA development.
• Recordkeeping: enter data, notes, monthly summaries accurately and timely.
• Housekeeping & Home Management: complete cleaning, shopping, basic maintenance, vehicle upkeep.
