Job summary

Mosaic is seeking an Associate Direct Support Manager to oversee residential programs and help individuals achieve personal outcomes. You will coordinate activities, support daily living tasks, document progress, and help maintain the care environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring health and safety, coordinating staff schedules, administering medications as certified, planning meals, handling petty cash, and contributing to individual planning teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in medication administration, CPR and first aid is required (can obtain after hire).
• Minimum of one year experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and safety of all individuals served while ensuring that living environments and program activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with managing the operations of residential programs including coordinating activities, supporting individuals with all activities of daily living and scheduling staff.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as covering staff shortages, administering medications, participating in individual program planning teams.
• Assist in planning and preparation of meals and snacks ensuring diet orders and kitchen sanitation procedures are followed.
• Support the people served to identify and achieve the personal outcomes important to them.
• Maintain detailed documentation of activities and developmental progress.
• Intervene when aggressive and/or inappropriate behavior occurs, implementing behavior programs and strategies where appropriate
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation, including activity records and developmental progress of people served.
• Handle house petty cash and individual finances, including purchasing groceries or supplies as needed.
• Oversee the maintenance of the residential facilities and transportation vehicles.

Education
