Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Direct Support Manager to coordinate and direct operations for Residential/Day Services, including scheduling staff, implementing program plans, and coordinating activities for individuals served.

The role emphasizes coaching, teaching, and mediating to create a supportive, solution-oriented environment while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality care. Strong leadership and collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education or a related field.
• Experience accepted in lieu of education.
• Minimum of three years of related work experience, with one year of supervisory or management experience.
• Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• May require CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Bring valuable insights, institutional knowledge, and assistance to members of the direct support team.
• Demonstrate and train team members to interact with the people we serve in an emotionally supportive and therapeutic manner.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the residential facility and vehicles, ensuring all living environments and program activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
• Provide guidance and assist with emergency situations on an on-call basis
• Manage petty cash funds and other financial accounts, as well as the purchasing of groceries and supplies.
• Maintain medical, social and programmatic files with detailed and accurate documentation
