Qualifications

• Certification in medication administration required or can be obtained after hire.
• CPR and first aid certification required or can be obtained after hire.
• Minimum of one year experience in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and safety of individuals served and ensure living environments comply with regulations.
• Assist with residential program operations: coordinate activities and schedule staff.
• Cover staff shortages, administer medications, participate in individual program planning teams.
• Plan and prepare meals, ensure diet orders and kitchen sanitation are followed.
• Document activities and developmental progress in detail.
• Intervene in aggressive or inappropriate behavior with appropriate strategies.
• Maintain electronic records of activity and progress.
• Handle petty cash and purchases for groceries and supplies.
• Oversee maintenance of facilities and transportation vehicles.
